Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
